UK based artist Piers has shared with us the anthem of the summer ‘Brown Eyes’, a song that delivers an upbeat indie psych-pop sound, with added bluesy elements and a huge dose of charisma. The smooth track perfectly unites classic rock sounds from the likes of The Beatles and The Beach Boys, with more contemporary sonics that nod to artists such as Tame Impala.
Piers revealed, “For ‘Brown Eyes’ I teamed up with platinum producer Adrian Zagoritis. The song was great fun to make as we tried to capture a 70s glam rock feel with a modern twist – full of life and summer energy! I wrote the song on an acoustic guitar with a southern American blues feeling originally but it evolved into a more upbeat and rockier song”
The young talent has only been releasing music since the start of 2021, and has already shown himself to be a strong contender amongst the rising stars of the UK. Receiving strong support from BBC Radio, Piers’ eclectic sound is starting to make some serious waves on home turf.
