Premiere: Emily Drinker embraces the elements in her wonderful ‘Hurricane’

Emily Drinker has unveiled her striking new song, ‘Hurricane‘, ahead of the release of her debut EP, Run The Race.

Drinker emerges as an artist whose ethereal tones could calm the wildest of storms. ‘Hurricane‘ sees the singer deliver a rich blend of folk and soul, creating a moody out-back anthem which undoubtedly lingers on long after the air has cleared. “Do you hear that? It started out slow,” she utters as the song picks up the pace elegantly asserting itself.

Incredibly atmospheric, ‘Hurricane‘ lyrically embraces the elements whilst providing a shelter of warm sounds throughout. Listen to ‘Hurricane‘ below.

The Philadelphia-native made her artist debut at Firefly Music Festival this year. Her unique touch of three-part harmonies and looping techniques are quickly gaining the attention of all those who experience it. Gearing up to release her debut EP, Run The Race, on 3rd November, Emily Drinker has plenty more in store. Connect with her via her social channels below.
