Foresteater, the moniker and live band of singer/songwriter Mikey Pro, have unleashed their powerful new single ‘Avalanche‘.
‘Avalanche‘ is an ultra-catchy offering that fuses elements of psychedelic and indie rock into one dreamy soundscape. Atmospheric guitar melodies ring out over the track’s steady beat whilst Pro’s woozy vocals paint a beautiful picture of his internal battle with emotion.
Behind the track’s vibrant and colourful exterior, Pro focusses on his inner struggles. “Avalanche is about being a mess on the inside but holding back your inner emotional disaster the best you can in order to be a “normal” human person in society,” he explains. Listen to the track below.
The band first came to fruition in 2015 after frontman Pro dreamt about “a band playing on an island in outer space, surrounded by electric rainbows“. The Phoenix natives have since been playing the local live circuit and toured the US earlier this year.
