President Elect release the youthful single ‘Coffee Song’

President Elect, a four-piece consisting of Iggy Waller on vocals and bass, Vincent Barulis on lead guitar, Jude Crook on rhythm and Zak Waller on drums are quickly becoming known for their dynamic live performances. Selling out venues across London and appearing at the likes of Vale Fest, they now look ahead to a UK tour. Coverage from various media outlets and support from BBC Introducing, Sirius XM and Future Hits radio are establishing themselves as promising newcomers.

Bringing in a groovy feel to nostalgic alt-rock, President Elects new track ‘Coffee Song’ catches you with all the youthful exuberance rock should have. Infectious melodies are laced with chords that get you moving, transporting you back to the early-2000s with each strum of the guitar. Distorted synths bring in an extra depth and makes the sound their own, with a variety of instrumentation driving underneath the pop-punk vocal performances. All the angsty melancholy, with a healthy dose of anthemic feel-good vibes.

The band explain, “It is a song about relationship struggles and modern day love, but also about being so tired and caught up that you’re ‘running on coffee’ – something most people can relate to, certainly us as a band can.

“Coffee Song is the catchy, poppy, softer side of President Elect. With brighter melodies and a ‘lighter’ energy compared to our debut single ‘REBOUND,’ Coffee Song shows our versatility while still encapsulating our goal of being energetic and making sure we leave the listener singing our songs.”
