Irish alt-pop duo PRiiCE has been causing a stir with their debut single ‘Sunflower’. This head-bopping, synth-orientated tune toes the line between indie pop and hip-hop in a fast-paced, grooving style that’s packed with energy and funk nods.
PRiiCE shares: “Sunflower came together really quickly and became a real turning point for us in terms of the music we had been writing. Sunflower sparked some new approaches to writing for us and was really the birthplace of PRiiCE. It’s the result of a day’s work after an unfortunate hard drive malfunction, but maybe that adds to what the song is.”
If the duo can create a track like this in just a day’s work, it’s safe to say that PRiiCE has got disrupting the music industry on their to-do list and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
