Psyence release electrifying new single ‘Dirty Gonzo’

West Midlands hailing alt-rock collective Psyence have released their newest offering ‘Dirty Gonzo’, and it’s a track you don’t forget easily. Bursting with emphatic sonics, the building single explodes into an energetic chorus with commanding vocals and punchy guitar riffs. The track acts as a teaser for their highly anticipated EP ‘Reality or Design’, set for release on 19th March.

Discussing their upcoming project, the band note: “Reality or Design? Says it all really doesn’t it? Has this past year been real? Or is it just some hellish nightmare we’re all gonna wake up from soon? 2020 was without a doubt one of the toughest years many of us have ever experienced. Within our families and friends there have been loved ones lost and new lives born, no gigs allowed, plans re-arranged, and then changed again.”

They further add: “In the void and when we were allowed to do so we re-grouped in our studio, which has become our safe haven from the madness. We immersed ourselves in creation, experimenting with our music, writing new songs, searching for the path forward. So we now proudly present to you our new five track EP, our response to a frustrating year for most and question once more, Reality or Design?”

Since their wondrous arrival back in 2014, the band have built up a significant list of successes. Their 2020 singles ‘Tusk’ and ‘Retrospect’ earned them their first editorial playlists at Spotify, Amazon and Deezer and their first radio plays on Kerrang and Radio X. As well as this, their track ‘Cold Blooded Killer’ featured on US prime time CBS TV show SEAL Team at the end of 2020. With an unmatched magnetic energy and a whole lot to offer, be sure to keep this five-piece on your radar.
