Punt Guns are back with their experimental new album ‘RMXd’

Punt Guns have returned and are better than ever. ‘RMXd’ adds an electronic dance spin to 6 of their original tracks, adding extra flair to the already explosive album. Offering reimagined versions of their tracks from producers Future Funk Squad and Glen Nicholls, as well as Janette Slack, each collaboration is a striking whirlwind experience. This masterful collection of remixes features driving basslines and sparkling synth, coated on top of Punt Guns’ signature dark enticing sound.

Discussing ‘RMXd’, collaborator Janette Slack says: “I had the absolute pleasure of working with these guys remixing 1.C.A.R.U.S and a few other tracks from this first offering and can’t wait to see what the future holds for these absolute gentlemen of the music scene. Keep an open mind, you won’t regret it!”

Producer Future Funk Squad, who also features on the record, spoke about the collab: “I first heard Big Bang and totally loved the energy and originality of the track and knew I could add my heavy breaks spin on it to deliver something big and fresh!!”

Members Samura1 and Karisma began making music together in 2017, and since then have expertly built an intense, full-throttle sound that has gained them a loyal fan base. ‘B1g Bang’ and ‘Cyber Dreams’ from ‘RMXd’ have notably been played by The Crystal Method in the US, with producer Janette Slack also interviewing the duo for Clockenflap Music in Hong Kong. Bringing a new dimension to their brand, Punt Guns continue to raise the bar, and undoubtedly have an exciting year ahead.
