Producer and musician Remus Rujinschi’s sound first emerged over thirty years ago, with his talent garnering recognition as he created underground remixes of popular songs. After moving in a more commercial direction to capitalise on offers from record labels, the artist spent some time refining his production abilities across the genre spectrum, training the next generation of engineers. Now returning to a solo career defined by dance music, Remus’ high-energy style is once again bubbling up to the surface.
His latest tune is the summer house anthem ‘In The Moment’. Taking nostalgic influences from stabbing, bright piano chords that immediately light up the room, he forms glowing vocals around the music honing his production to make the lead line soar with infectiousness as it comes flying into each drop. Pulsating kick drums and plucky bass melodies are joined by arpeggiated synths and noisy risers. Full of energy, ‘In The Moment’ is a prime example of the addictive nature of classic households to this day.
