Rhys E puts his own spin on nostalgic Brit-rock in ‘Life’s a Game’

Emerging artist Rhys E has released his new single ‘Life’s a Game’ today, seeing out this never-ending January with a much needed dose of feel-good indie-rock. Rhys’ distinctive vocal soars alongside layers of relentless beats and driving guitar riffs, complete with relatable lyricism. Directing nostalgic sounds towards a new wave of Brit-rock, Rhys E is certainly changing the game with this full-throttle anthem.

Revealing the humorous inspiration behind the single, Rhys says: “I wanted to write a song with a title that would look good on a t-shirt and thought life’s a game was a good shout.”

Since his debut in April 2020, Rhys E has already secured airtime on BBC Radio 6, received support from NME, as well as gaining recognition from Manchester music legend Tim Burgess. He is set to take the live scene by a storm with plans to play at Kendal Calling next summer. Rhys is on track for big things this year, and we can’t wait to hear more.
