Rising pop star Manda unveils infectious new pop single, ‘fuck myself’

Hailing from Sweden and currently based in Los Angeles, Manda has managed to build an impressive career for herself, initially receiving acclaim after being placed in the Top 7 of Swedish X Factor in 2012. Going on to perform her song “Glow” in the Swedish election of Eurovision in 2014, Manda continued chasing her dream and has released an assortment of music ever since, amassing millions of digital streams.

As a Queer/LGBTQ artist, Manda aims to encourage listeners to embrace their sexuality and feminine power through her music, and her latest single “fuck myself” is a bright example of just that. An infectious y2k pop-influenced track, “fuck myself” boasts an infectious instrumental, that is taken to the next level through Manda’s stunning vocal performance, where she shares an honest personal story.

“I wrote “fuck myself” about two years ago, after the last time i had sex with a man,” reveals the talented artist. “I still identified as bisexual back then, even though i’ve known for forever that i’m gay, so sex with men was never my cup of tea, but nonetheless, always so disappointing. I got to the studio one day and was so fed up about how selfish men were in bed and how most men don’t know at all how bodies with vaginas work, nor cared to learn. “fuck myself” is not only a part of my diary, but also relatable to so many people. It’s an uplifting and catchy y2k pop-influenced track about female sexuality and empowerment, and how to always listen, love and appreciate yourself and your body.”
