Riverside Music TV feature new performance from Glasgow trio Fatherson

Riverside Music TV has unveiled the latest and greatest of their spotlighting live sessions, this time leaving Glasgow three-piece at the helm of the studio. RMTV aims to showcase the best of both established and up-and-coming artists from throughout the UK and beyond, Fatherson, who have performed at the likes of The Great Escape and Stag & Dagger and seen BBC Radio 1 support, are a great example of the kind of talent the project highlights.

The first of four performances from Fatherson set to be unveiled over the coming weeks, a live version of ‘Making Waves’ sees the trio at their very best, lead vocalist Ross Leighton leading a heartfelt explosion of atmospheric indie passion. Bringing floods raw energy to the intimate setting, ‘Making Waves’ is the perfect track to balance opposing intensities, subtle explosions of distortion breaking through the emotive lyricism.

Ross adds, “We’re the best version that this band has ever been…and in six months we’ll be a better version of that.”

RMTV themselves are a subsidiary of Riverside Studios, which delivers industry-leading audio innovation, providing state-of-the-art facilities for over thirty years. Their new musical television broadcast features a range of artist interviews, sessions and behind-the-scenes peeks, with previous appearances from Callum Beattie, Rianne Downey and Darren McGarvey.

With three more electrifying Fatherson performances set to be unveiled this month, it’s well worth staying tuned and riding the wave of excitement around both the band and Riverside Music TV.
