Roger Spy is a talented songwriter and performing artist that is not afraid to bring his sexuality and unique style to the spotlight through his music, and his new song ‘Did You Go To Masturbation School’ reflects exactly that.
In the minimal song, Roger Spy deifies band member and singer of the Backstreet Boys Nick Carter, and in a very intimate and introspective fashion, we are able to begin to grasp a view of Spy’s world. The song’s music video, directed by Roger Spy himself, takes the journey further, as the artist is seen performing in a room filled with Nick Carter-themed posters and merchandise.
The song is equally as unique as the visual companion, filled with 80’s sounding, analog basslines and pads, as well as drums that sound like they’re straight out of a modular setup.
