ROREY shares new cinematic music video for single “Standby”

Bicoastal bedroom pop singer/songwriter ROREY has just shared her latest music video for her single “Standby”. The visually masterful video is the perfect accompaniment to the hazy and remarkable musical piece. The song is the first taste of her upcoming sophomore EP Dysphoria.

“Standby” takes listeners on a journey through ROREY’s manic episode and ultimate journey towards recovery from mental health issues. The lyrics are brutally honest yet relatable and give a glimpse into what it is like to live with bipolar disorder. Deeply evocative and important, ROREY sheds light on this struggle with the brave and confessional song. Her vocals are dazzling and vivid and the music dreamy and hazy. The video shows the artist throughout NYC from on the subway to the train station and even a rooftop filled with the city skyline. Directed by ROREY and Demetrios Giannoploulos, the music video is a must watch.

ROREY grew up in both Los Angeles and NYC and began playing music at a young age. Throwing herself into making music, the artist has already built a loyal fan base since first sharing music in 2021. Her new release is co-produced by longtime friend and collaborator, Scott Effman and is truly impressive. Take a listen now.
