Rory Gillanders delivers epic indie rock single ‘Eye Of A Hurricane’

Rory Gillanders is a pure and refreshing example of where an attitude and some determination can get you in life. The Dublin born songwriter has always been a believer in good old fashioned rock n’ roll, being influenced heavily by Bob Dylan and Oasis, he brings his own style and notion to the fore with ‘Eye Of A Hurricane’.

A hard-hitting, acoustic driven track, Rory touches on his journey as a young man moving overseas to London and facing the struggles of the every-day. You can feel the emotion and grit in his voice, bringing a vocal that’s reminiscent of the great Ryan Adams. With his booming, full band sound that travels far and wide, expect to hear this young man across the capital very soon.

Rory explains the meaning behind ‘Eye Of A Hurricane’: ”The song came to me in a dream. I was looking down at a hurricane causing all this destruction but I felt calm. I woke up and thought, there’s gotta be an idea for a song in this. I guess this song is about hope and trying to keep moving forward no matter what obstacles life throws at you”.
