London-based Ryan Doyle, is an artist, producer and songwriter who’s signature sound of dance-pop is making him one to watch. The artist has seen support from the press and BBC Introducing, and now looks ahead to more releases to round out 2023 and a debut headline show in the works.
Following his recent release, ‘Like I Do’, Ryan Doyle is back with a pop-laced disco-house banger, ‘Lately’. The track shows off its high-octane nature from the get go, with the twinkling instrumentation made up of groovy guitar and swirling bass lines, with sparkling, punchy pianos and synths maximising the glittery atmosphere. The drums are clean and thumping, with copious amounts of kick to bass side-chain compression bringing the funk. The vocal line is dynamic and catchy, having no problem keeping up with the non-stop instrumentation with enticing pop melodies.
Ryan adds, “Lately is just fun! It all happened very quickly when making the song and it’s been one that I’ve sat on for a little while now, so to see it coming out is very exciting! I think it’s the perfect post-summer song!”
