S-X Releases Anywhere But Here Album

Wolverhampton-based singer, songwriter, and producer S-X has released his highly anticipated album ‘Anywhere But Here,‘ unveiling “Divided” featuring BIG K.R.I.T as the final track to his 10-track sprint.

The album was crafted during S-X’s intense training camp for his debut fight in the boxing ring at the Misfits Boxing Prime Card alongside the likes of Tommy Fury, KSI and Logan Paul. Working alongside the rigorous schedule and drastic weight loss, he continued to work on the album, culminating in a collection that resonates with emotional depth and raw authenticity.

This album release showcases the multifaceted artist dropping 10 tracks across 10 weeks, each complemented by its own music video. S-X takes the production reins for nine of these tracks, a testament to his versatile talent. The album boasts just two features: one from UK rap icon Blade Brown and another from Mississippi native Big K.R.I.T. ‘Anywhere But Here’ stands as a testament to S-X’s undeniable artistic breadth.

Adding a distinctive dimension to the album’s diverse soundscape, “Wasting Time”, the sixth track, was produced by The Elements, the production-duo recognised for their work with renowned artists such as Burna Boy (It’s Plenty) and Rema (Ginger Me).

S-X declares himself as a creator of ‘sad boy music,’ drawing from personal heartbreak as the primary inspiration behind this 10-track opus. However, his poignant penmanship resonates universally, speaking to anyone navigating life’s struggles, whether it’s addiction, tumultuous relationships, or heartbreak.

As the penultimate track of the album, “Answers” stands as a testament to the longstanding synchronicity between S-X and Blade Brown, highlighting their musical chemistry cultivated over more than a decade of friendship.
