Sarah Buckley release gentle EP ‘Wind Chimes’

After seeing success with the teaser singles ‘Always Trouble’ and ‘Puppet Show’. Cork-based artist Sarah Buckley present her ‘Wind Chimes’ EP. The final edition to the project is the title track, a song that takes on spacey and ethereal atmospheres. When this soundscape is blended with Sarah’s distinctive storytelling and powerful vocal performances, we a brought into a luxuriant clearing. The twinkles of piano melodies, soft bass lines and gentle drums all support her restrained relatability, captivating the listener.

Speaking on the EP, Sarah shares, “The wind chimes EP for me is about acknowledging a tough time or relationships gone wrong but by the end of the three tracks being ready to set that tough time aside and move on.”

An emerging alt-folk talent, Buckley’s debut single ’You’ve Got Me’ received 1.3 million radio impression. Earlier this year, she released her debut EP ‘Magic Powers’, capitalising on her initial success. A constant presence at gigs across Ireland, Sarah has supported the likes of Mick Flannery, Gemma Hayes, Niamh Regan, and Ham Sandwich. Selected for the ‘Creative Moves Europe’ and becoming a semi-finalist for the International Songwriting Competition, Buckley is making her presence known, becoming a rising star of the alt-folk scene.
