Cork-based singer-songwriter Sarah Hickey has flourished onto the radar of the industry in recent months. Her confessional writing has been shown in full effect as she has elegantly revealed pieces of her upcoming debut album. Performing both as a solo artist and a supporting vocalist across Ireland has polished her reputation, alongside plenty of press support.
The latest track to be disclosed is the warm ‘Slow Burner’. Showcasing a more heartbroken side to Sarah’s reflections, whilst maintaining a softly optimistic atmosphere, the track brings the listener through an ethereal soundscape brimming with rich guitar lines, flowing saxophone and descending keys. Vocally, the track is as delicate as ever, Sarah smoothly delivering vivid harmony and comforting lead melodies.
