US pop trio SHAED have dropped the official music video for their brand-new single ‘No Other Way’. Directed by Miles & AJ – who have created videos for Billie Eilish, JADEN, Kehlani and more – the band shot ‘No Other Way’ utilising a giant LED wall and virtual production, a new technique implemented during season one of The Mandalorian and on the forthcoming film The Batman. The cut shows the trio exploring stunning environments and battling the elements while vocalist Chelsea Lee brings her powerful performance on the band’s new anthem to life.
“We wrote this song as a reminder to live in the moment and do what you believe is right, without letting anything or anyone take you off course. In this video we had the opportunity to use cutting edge technology to go face-to-face with a desert sandstorm, a blizzard, and a torrential monsoon, all from a studio in Tampa. As a trio we’re ready to face whatever life throws our way.” – the band said.
‘No Other Way’ is the Multi-Platinum US trio’s highly-anticipated follow-up to their 1.6+ BILLION streamed hit ‘Trampoline’, a hit which earned them the attention of ZAYN who later collaborated with them on a new version of the song.
SHAED, consisting of Chelsea Lee, her husband Spencer Ernst, and his twin brother Max Ernst – had big plans for 2020. The band were set to continue building on the momentum of ‘Trampoline’ with international tours and festival dates, but as with many artists, the pandemic changed everything. For the first time in years SHAED had the opportunity to slow down, refocus themselves as artists, and put down their roots at home. Through deep introspection in a vulnerable time, the trio discovered a wealth of strength and creativity that inspired ‘No Other Way’ and paved the way for their forthcoming debut LP, due for release next year.
