Following on from her debut single ‘Only One’, UK-based R&B singer-songwriter Shaz returns with her new release ‘Need A Little’, presenting a lush soundscape. Her melismatic vocals appear alongside a track produced by ksxingh, seeing trap-influenced beats and electric guitar riffs as the song flows into a chilled groove.
Discussing her new release, Shaz says: “One afternoon last January, I just heard this amazing melody in my head, and from there, the words came free-flowing and non-stop, it took me 10 minutes to finish the song!”
Shaz is already making a name for herself with her dreamy R&B sound, having gained radio play from KISS FM and crowned the BBC Music Introducing Artist of the Week on BBC Asian Network, as well as further spins from BBC Introducing Berkshire.
