Sigrid drops her new track ‘Raw’

Sigrid has today unveiled her eagerly awaited new track, ‘Raw’. This is the only single to be dropped by the Norwegian songstress so far in 2018 and comes as the first in a collection of brand new material set to be released every week.

The track features a playful mix of twinkly piano chords, classical strings and synth-laden disco beats; all accompanied by the 21-year-old’s increasingly familiar dulcet tones.

Laying out her emotions with refreshingly simple lyricism, Sigrid’s soulful sound twists though the track while she effortlessly explains “I just want to be pure, you know I’m terrible at putting up a show / That’s what you wanted me for, so I get pissed off when you ask me to be more / I just want to be raw.” The song’s empowering message serves as an anthem for everyone who hears it.
