Sigur Ros have announced a run of UK tour dates in 2017.
The Icelandic outfit will kick off their jaunt at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on 16-17th September, and visit London’s Eventim Apollo, 20-21st September, and the Clyde Auditorium at Glasgow’s SECC on 25th September.
Tickets are on general sale at 9:00 am this Friday. The full list of tour dates are:
16th September 2017 – Manchester O2 Apollo
17th September 2017 – Manchester O2 Apollo
20th September 2017 – London, Eventim Apollo
21st September 2017 – LONDON Eventim Apollo
25th September 2017 – GLASGOW Clyde Auditorium
Before that the band are due to hit the US, kicking off the tour in Santa Barbara, California on 7th April and will include 20 dates before finishing up in Queens, New York on 17th June.
The band will be accompanied by the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra for their three-night run in Los Angeles.
The band will play two sets with an intermission during their forthcoming concerts and have promised to perform songs from throughout their career.
