Silent Mass creates deeply atmospheric single “Nest of Flowers”

New York experimental shoegaze and dreampop collective Silent Mass has shared their latest hazy and splendid musical offering. Called “Nest of Flowers”, the song is off of their forthcoming album set for release on the summer solstice June 20th this year.
“Nest of Flowers” is a dreamy manifestation of sounds with colliding soaring guitars, lush vocals and evocative bass.  The song discusses walking in an unknown path but having a deep trust in the universe to get you where you need to be. Sometimes going in a directionless way is not a bad thing and with their new single Silent Mass showcases just that. Descriptive lyrics showing this desire and trust include “Never fearing death, I want this / Hear flames burning, from the sky /Invoking spirits that lie.”

Silent Mass is the musical project headed by wordsmith, musician, songwriter and singer Ammo Bankoff. The band blends post-punk, ethereal dream wave, shoegaze, and 90s alternative for a fresh and unique sound all of their own. Check out their new song now and get ready and excited for the full album coming soon.
