Silver Jack has just dropped his new album Can I Have This Dance? with lead single ‘Tired!’ paving the way for a next chapter for the artist.
A thoroughly self-made record, Jack produced, composed and sang all parts of his new project. ‘Tired!’ arrives on the scene with a self-directed music video; Silver Jack stands on a sweeping landscape of sepia and beige tones. The singer stands centre stage, exposing the vulnerability of the track and its message.
Hailing from India but London-based, Silver Jack’s global artistry inspires him to make art with a meaning. ‘Tired!’ arrives from the artist’s inspiration from the icon Nina Simone — that it is an artist’s duty to reflect the times. Sultry undertones propel emotional production qualities, as Jack’s vocals lay atop with a visceral vulnerability.
According to Silver Jack, it was like ‘Tired’ came to him almost automatically, he shares, “I was living in Acton in London when I came up with it. It hit me there I was, living in one of the biggest economically and politically important metropolitans in the world, and I was experiencing first-hand the global effects of major wars playing out around me.”
Silver Jack is on a mission to create music the most authentic to him, and he crafts a sound that is truly him, through and through – and he is only just getting started.
