The smooth blend of afrobeats, reggae, and jazz creates a hypnotising feel-good vibe. Taken from Slimmz’s upcoming EP called ‘Love Life’, it is about “the duality of love and life. It reflects on aspects of romantic relationships and life in general and the importance of maintaining happiness”. ‘The Weekend’ is a sensual romantic track, where Slimmz pours out his love and passion.
