UK duo Slomo Casino recently revealed their sensational debut EP Marshmallow, and they have now returned with an acoustic version of the indie-pop project. Without losing any of original record’s uplifting energy, this new rendition sees warm acoustic textures accompany their smooth vocals, playful lyrics and singalong melodies.
The duo says of their new release: “When writing our debut EP Marshmallow, it was often from bouncing basic ideas of melodies and stripped back guitar to each other. Once we had built these up to the full arrangements that we took into the studio, we still had an alternative stripped back version of all of the tracks that we wanted to realise. That’s what the Marshmallow – Acoustic EP is all about.”
