Slow Down Molasses make long-awaited return with ‘Street Haunting’

Having been unexpectedly quiet since the release of their much-loved 2016 album ‘100% Sunshine’, Canadian four-piece Slow Down Molasses have now made their long-awaited return as they deliver their latest belter ‘Street Haunting’.

Continuing the same bold and tenacious post-punk-inspired direction we know them for, ‘Street Haunting’ sees them comeback with a fresh and renewed direction. Channelling the blistering aesthetic of acts like Gang Of Four and Sonic Youth, their newest release looks set to serve them well throughout their return.

Adding about the single, frontman Tyson McShane said, “…the song ruminates on the casual, but oft-underappreciated beauty of the urban environment and the predictability of a person’s daily tasks… A place sometimes overflowing with creative energy, but where it often necessary to remind oneself of the casual brilliance of one’s peers and the places we typically tend to haunt.”
