Loaded with glorious pop vocals and sentimental piano work, ‘Slowly Fade Away’ is the newest pop-ballad from the Italian Folk-Pop artist who is strutting his stuff at this years SXSW.
Dead on 3-minutes in length, the single is a commercial marvel. With the track opening out via grooving bass, guitar countering vocal riffage, and euphoric production.
Talking about the new track, Damien McFly shares: “The main theme is the fear of starting a new relationship: instinct fights against rationality. But when something happens, when the instability falls down and the instinct takes place, in that very moment they actually feel alive. ‘Can I kiss you slowly / And Slowly fade away / If you drown in my sea / I will lose the game’.”
Hailing from Padova, Italy, Damien Mcfly is the moniker behind Damiano Ferrari, a charismatic singer/songwriter who bridges the gaps between old and new.
