Australian 3-piece alt-rock group Snowfish are back with their latest single ‘Maybe’. Although sounds seem borrowed from the likes of Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead, the trio are truly in a lane of their own. The group are bound by blood, and this brotherhood create stunning singles that are different from the typical love song.
When speaking of the single, Snowfish share:
“The narrator of Maybe fantasises about being in love and putting another before themselves, even though there is no one there. We wanted to write a nice love song while still having a dark undertone to the tune, imperfection lurking beneath the surface.”
With an album en route, the trio is another exciting group coming out of Australia at the moment. Harking back to nostalgic alt-rock heydeys of the 90s and 00s, this trip down memory lane seems as present as ever.
