Vicky Pasion has returned with her self-proclaimed lockdown baby ‘SOUL STAR’, which is a glowing 8-track that comes gift wrapped in pop hooks and versatile melodies. The London-based artist-performer-activist follows in the footsteps of the likes of Joy Crookes, whilst firmly sitting in a lane of her own.
Discussing the record Vicky explains:
“After waves of heartbreak, mental health, and unraveling childhood experiences in my debut EP, I’ve spent the past two years influenced by the chilled R&B vibes in LA, daring to come into my own and blossoming with the ups and downs of love. For this project, I’ve worked with great producers, like Adrian McLeod, Likkle Jay, Steven Bamidele, and Alan Lowe, in iconic studios like Tileyard and Abbey Road! I’m so grateful for the journey and excited to create an intimate experience for all in my live shows!”
Having shared the stage with Michael Jackson, performed in the London West End, and sold-out venues for her own works, Vicky is a tried and tested artist, with 2022 firmly looking like her year.
