Space Buns crash the scene with explosive new single ‘Your Party Sucks’

Montréal-based punk band Space Buns have officially arrived,  and they brought the noise. Their latest single, “Your Party Sucks”, is a furious, razor-edged anthem that kicks down the door to a bold new era for the band. With production from Canadian rock legends Dave Traina (The Damn Truth) and Harry Hess (Billy Talent, Muse), the track marks the first taste of their upcoming debut album.

Unfiltered, loud, and laced with attitude, “Your Party Sucks” is a sharp left turn from expectations, and exactly how Space Buns wants it.

“Sorry we left early, it’s just your party sucks and so do your friends,” the band snarls, offering a lyrical middle finger to forced fun and fake vibes.

The song didn’t come overnight. After years of trial, error, and sonic self-discovery, Space Buns have honed a sound that’s fast, raw, and unapologetically punk. The track explodes with garage rock grit, breakneck drums, and searing vocals, channelling frustration into a mosh-ready catharsis.

“It took us a long time to figure out what kind of band we wanted to be,” the band shares. “‘Your Party Sucks’ was the first track that made us go — this is it. This is who we are.”

Their signature riotous live energy and no-compromise personality have already earned them a loyal fanbase in the underground Montréal scene. Now, with a revamped sound and a full album on the horizon, Space Buns are ready to take their chaos global.
