Sports Team hit the fast lane for a joyride in the new visuals for ‘M5’.
Recorded on green screen by long-time collaborator Kris Rimmer, the video is an ode to England’s seaside motorway: complete with a flying car and more service stations than you can shake a stick at.
On the track, vocalist Alex Rice says: “We want to get into the minutiae of everyday life, valorize it, romanticize it, play with it. If England seems prosaic then people should be able to find something uplifting in that.”
‘M5’ is taken from the Margate rascal’s upcoming EP, Keep Walking!, due out from their own Holm Front label on 8th March.
