This unique pair somehow blends a feel good Daft Punk esque dance beat alongside a Wombats esque guitar driven track. This is testament to this dynamic duo’s craft and attention to detail. ‘P.L.A.Y.I.N.G’ is their latest single and it’s everything you want in a summertime anthem. It’s happy, uplifting and as the title suggests, playful in the best possible way.
Writing the song about those first days back in Summer when we’re out of this long Covid-19 tunnel, you can almost feel the energy that Stevans poured into this track. There are also 80s inspired synths in there, which works so well with the modern enhanced sound they have created.
