Singer-songwriter, producer, and musician Summer Payton has released her latest electrifying R&B single ‘Mouth Dry’.
The melodic and alluring nature of the soft instrumental R&B track is fuelled by the ever-present strumming of the guitar, that only serves to highlight the exquisite vocal performance of Summer Payton. Inspired by the “exploration of a long-distance relationship”, ‘Mouth Dry’ serves as a metaphor for a cacophony of sorrowful and longing emotions.
Summer Payton began her musical journey from an early age, growing up with a musician father she quickly learnt to play the piano by ear. Further childhood struggles inspired her to reach out for the pen, to write her worries away, resulting in the hauntingly beautiful music she is now known for.
