Hailing from Indianapolis, USA, Suti~Tooti is a boundary-pushing artist who has started to make a name for himself with his barrier-breaking approach to songwriting. Since the release of his single ‘From Us, Pt.2’ earlier in May, the artist has been catching industry attention. Returning to the limelight again, he releases a new music video to complement the track.
Aiming to enrich Suti’s creative spirit, the self-directed video offers an introspective, magnetic pull into his artistry. Taking cues and inspiration from Japanese pop culture, the project sports vivid imagery and colour to make the single really pop, adding to its contemporary glow. Looking to make a name for himself, I don’t think it’ll be long before we see more from Suti~Tooti.
Speaking about the single, he explains, “Before releasing the original ‘From Us’, my fiancee told me that the song’s outro could have been its own song. I saw her vision but figured I’d wait and see if other listeners expressed the sentiment. Once the song was released, fans and pretty much everyone I spoke to in person overwhelmingly agreed with her and requested a part 2 (wife is always right), so I gave the fans what they wanted! Part 2 took about a month to complete, from the writing process to the final master. When creating part 2, I was inspired by songs off Baby Keem’s “DIE FOR MY BITCH” and used “KEHLANI” by Jordan Adetunji as a reference track”
