Swedish singer-songwriter Boy In Space has just released his emotional new single ‘The Last Time’

Robin Lundbäck launched his solo career as Boy In Space in 2018 after a successful run with Swedish boy band JTR, who also competed on the fifth season of The X Factor Australia.

This time around, he is shedding past struggles and looking ahead with a new era.

He has collaborated with a legion of artists including powerhouses like Alan Walker, NOTD and The Struts, and his newfound persona has managed to captivate audiences worldwide with half a billion streams and one million monthly listeners on Spotify.

‘The Last Time’ mesmerizes with a catchy melodic intro before Robin Lundbäck adds vibrant vocals to the arrangement to create a upbeat but emotional pop song.

‘The Last Time’ marks as the third release of 2024 for Robin, perfectly encapsulating the energy and depth that Boy In Space is renowned for.

His distinctive vocals glide over a soulful yet modern production, expressing the vulnerability and determination of moving on from past pains.

Produced by Freddy Alexander and written by Robin himself alongside Phoebe Ryan and Fredrik Häggstam, the track is a powerful ode to his newfound creative rebirth.

Boy in Space explains that ” ‘The Last Time’ was written during a quite difficult time in my life, and the song became an outlet of what I was going through while also taking on a life of its own.

A breakup story and a nostalgic description of what could be the last moment together, leaving trails of betrayal and a feeling of being let down.

I tried to capture that feeling of bittersweet heartbreak, when you want to laugh and cry at the same time.”
