T R U V O N N E showcases the delicate ethereality of new single ‘Nicotine’

Creating cinematic moments through Alternative R&B arrangements, T R U V O N N E first debuted in 2017, showcasing a subtle craftsmanship that has held true ever since. Picking up features on shows such as ‘Good Trouble,’ ‘NAOMI’ and ‘Queen Sugar’ as well as interviews on KISS FM and iHeart Radio, the artist has continued to reach new heights whilst staying true to the storytelling at the core of their writing.

T R U V O N N E’s latest single has now been unveiled. The new track, ‘Nicotine’, opens with a raw and gentle scenery, lacing the simple emotion of an acoustic guitar with delicate reverb and synth hums. The artist’s vocals are introduced with a spellbinding ethereality, softly moving through the atmosphere with layers of heartfelt haze, sweeping through the music as it rises and falls. Balancing this fragility with moments of pounding percussion and deep sub-bass thunder, the track feels like a distant glow, slowly growing into a welcome light.

T R U V O N N E adds, “Sometimes you have memories that you live in. Loneliness can do that.”
