Receiving widespread acclaim from the music press, being listed in Forbes Slovakia 30 under 30 and being awarded an ambassador position for Spotify’s EQUAL, Tamara Kramar’s subtly but surging rise through the industry has opened up a glimmering new audience to her timeless sound.

Her debut EP Bachelor Of Science earned her a Radio_Head Award, with the artist since turning her interests towards forthcoming follow-up Make It Poetic. Now with a master’s degree in music and production under her belt, her DIY attitude is more polished than ever, and enticing to witness.

Fans’ latest soriée into the soon-to-be-released EP is graceful Bossa Nova blends of ‘Sunflower’. Tamara opens the track with her vocals laced on a softly swirling acoustic guitar bounce, with the occasional flute melody delicately introduced by London-based Rūta Sīpola. As the track progresses, Tamara pulls back the curtain further, allowing her band’s personality to flow through playful piano melodies and the intricate drum rhythms of Nicholas Stampf.

The elegant sunlight of the track then leans into the instrumental prowess on show, allowing the instruments to stream around one another as Tamara’s voice is engulfed in the unconfined beauty.

Tamara adds, ”Writing Sunflower was like a therapy session – I got out exactly what I needed to after a little almost-love affair last summer! I am excited about this one, it feels like summer with a hint of melancholy.”
