Tash Sultana shares bluesy new track ‘Mystik’

Tash Sultana has released her dreamy new track, ‘Mystik‘, via Mom + Pop.

Back in July the artist dropped a video of her performing the track in her bedroom effortlessly jamming along to her cleverly artistic layered loops. Now, the highly anticipated track has been officially released. ‘Mystik‘ sees the Melbourne-native use her signature jazzy guitar melodies, minimal percussion, and sultry vocal tones cloaked in reverb. The track builds and builds on itself until climaxing with a bluesy saxophone solo and funky guitar outro. Listen to ‘Mystik‘ below.

Speaking to Australian radio show Triple J about the inspiration for the track she explained: “Tried to just come back down and connect to myself and just be present, because when you’re busy all the time you kind of get caught up in this whole mist, and you forget to stop and be still. You get carried away thinking that you have to do all these things all the time when you probably just should be instead of do.
