The Badly Behaved release ‘Who am I?’ Out on the 14th of July

Who Am I?’ is the title track of the album that we released last year and it has been updated and mixed by the highly acclaimed British producer Jamie Sellers for release as a single. It is a 126 BPM dance track and follows the release of a remix of our track Runaway in July 2022, which reached No. 1 on the European Indie Music Chart.

‘Who Am I?’ is about a successful musician or actor who questions his or her own self-image and how he or she is perceived by the rest of the world. However, it actually applies to every one of us and the identity issues and questions of self-worth that we all face. It is the first and title track from the studio album that The Badly Behaved released in May 2022. The album was written and composed by Richard von Kalmar, along with Richard Wolff and Stewart Irving and comprises 10-tracks, including a remix of ‘Runaway‘ by Philipp Lauer and a reprise track titled ‘Somewhere in England’.

The Badly Behaved’s current musical style is inspired by an eclectic mix of artists, from commercial giants, such as the Pet Shop Boys, Röyksopp and William Orbit, to niche artists, such as Lauer, Marvin & Guy and Zombies in Miami. The band’s music making philosophy is to build on existing music that inspires them, as well as what has worked in the past, while always daring to try new things and always being original. They plan to release a cover of Bobby O’s ‘She has a way’ and are also working on other material for release later in 2023.
