Monuments is the new release from Canadian singer-songwriter and one-man-band Stefan Jurewicz, otherwise known as The Desert Island Big Band. His ability to write an impressive arrangement is something that’s not all that common nowadays, and for that he should be applauded.
The new release is a guitar driven track with a whole bunch of energy. Quirky lyrics and compelling vocals make the track stand out the most, and this is Jurewicz’s third release already this year, showing that he lacks no ambition. The indie-rock artist has already picked up some traction at home and now abroad as he continues to develop as a creative and as a brand.
The DIBB is definitely on our radar and we’re excited to see what comes next, especially if its as strong as Monuments. The aesthetically pleasing neon-inspired music video dropped recently which also shows his ability to collaborate with other artists.
