The Questionnaires are a band from Newcastle upon Tyne.
They are a recording project based around the lyrics of Steve Hall and Jane Wade and they produce music that sits between alt folk and soft rock.
The Questionnaires features some of the best musicians Tyneside has to offer such as Niles Krieger (Assembly Lane, The Often herd) and Steve Dolder (Prefab Sprout, Glen Tilbrook).
‘The Illustrated Woman’ is on The Questionnaires forthcoming album ‘Atlantic Ridge’, which will be unveiled on Friday, 15th January 2021.
The track treats us to beautiful vocals and the gentle sound of the piano, which then transitions into an upbeat melody as more instruments are delightfully introduced into the mix.
This song really showcases the strength of Steve and Jane’s songwriting skills.
