Nemøde is a new Alternative Rock band from Brussels, Belgium.
The project started in the summer of 2019 with Nina (Drums) and Furyo (Guitar and Vocals) coming from a previous band excited to start something new.
Lacking a bassist they posted on Instagram and Pitch responded having only 2 months experience in playing bass.
The project matured and on the first day of 2020, the trio published its first single ‘Dreaming’.
Nemøde have just unveiled their new single ‘Blue Moon’.
The instrumental arrangement and vocals of ‘Blue Moon’ have a soulful quality to them whilst Nemøde also delivers uplifting melodies throughout the track.
Blue Moon is about anxiety that arises and vanishes in waves. It is the calm and the tumult that intertwine.
With this release, Nemøde unveils a harmonious synthesis of its influences, ranging from indie to metal with a touch of mathrock.
By playing with contrasts which characterize their music, the band offers a track that is both melancholic and bursting with energy.
