Love Ghost is the genre-hopping project of Finnegan Bell, and continues to be an evolving figure in modern alt-rock and emo scenes. Pulling from grunge, pop-punk, hip-hop and everything in between, he’s built an international presence.
The Skinner Brothers are a cult indie-rock force, with their unapologetic and raw UK grit fronted by Zachary Skinner. Relentless DIY energy, earning millions of streams and fiercely independent, they’ve delivered sharp social commentary and supported major UK acts.
‘Scrapbook’, a brand new single, is the second meeting of mine between the two creative powers. Emo-fuelled indie-punk with anthemic proportions, the track combines the unmistakable vocal edge with poetic sensibility. The product of these foundations is a propulsive blend of British grit and American alt-rock.
Stripped-back, confessional verses and explosive choruses, they tap into a raw emotional register throughout. Love Ghost teases, “This is our second collab with the Skinner Brothers. We are working on a full EP and will be announcing a tour together soon.”
