Following 2020 singles “I am the Moon” and “Temporary Vessel,“ psychedelic synth-rock duo The Wormholes have returned to the spotlight once again, sharing their brand new gem “Tsunami.” The exciting act made their debut back in 2017 with double single “Stardust / Mindship,” and followed it up with their debut project Cosmic Propaganda.
“Tsunami,” which comes at a length of almost 4 minutes, is taken from the rising duo’s upcoming album Light In The Dark. The single presents the story of a mind struggling with feelings of inadequacy, and contemplating the use of a chemical intervention as the only solution. Driven by intricate, organic percussion, washed-out vocal harmonies and lush instrumentation, “Tsunami” is a truly stunning showcase of The Wormholes’ unique sound, which will certainly be even further explored in their forthcoming album.
