Based in Charlotte, indie duo The Wormholes have been sharing stunning music for a number of years now. Forming back in 2015, they shared their double single ‘Stardust / Mindship’ two years later, and followed it up with their acclaimed debut album ‘Cosmic Propaganda’ in 2018. Now, following a string of impressive singles, the duo – made up of Ben Verner and Chris Walters – have returned with their sophomore project, ‘Light in the Dark.’
Spanning over 10 tracks, ‘Light in the Dark’ takes hints from the sound The Wormholes crafted on ‘Cosmic Propaganda’ and carefully deconstructs it into a more meaningful and intimate experience. Throughout the album, The Wormholes explore the concept of dichotomies, something that translates to the personal lyrics as well as the vibrant instrumentals. The project was recorded by Ben Verner and Chris Walters, engineered and mixed by Chris Walters, and mastered by Marc Hallisey.
