Metal-core rising stars Thousand Frames first appeared in 2017, but their momentum over the past two years has been impressive, releasing a string of energised, emotional singles that showcase their genre-bending talents. The trio seem to be on an unstoppable upward trend, and it’s undoubtedly well-deserved.
Their latest single to charge into the forefront of the scene is ‘Nothing’, transforming atmospheric moments into a powerful, cinematic, distortion-drenched anthem. Breaths of untethered, runaway emotion are enforced by deep, full guitars, whilst the blend of electronic and acoustic drums, both aggressively complex, provide a backbone for the unstoppable rise.
The band explain, “‘Nothing’ is a song about breaking free from the cycles that hold you back, allowing you to create your own life story. We hope it resonates with those who are working hard to forge their own paths.”
‘Nothing’ is laced with vigour, pulling at your heartstrings whilst pushing on. The elements of synthesisers, clean arpeggios and saxophone solos help to provide the bright contrast of what is on the other side, the lead vocal climbing the endless mountain in search of something more.
