The Bolokos are a punk band formed in 2009 in Goyave, Guadeloupe (French West Indies).
The band is made up of Océ Cheapfret (Vocals, Bass), Mister Fridge (Drums, Vocals) and Edy Caramello (Vocals, Guitar).
Pioneers of the genre in their island, their sound is a blend of punk, rock, ska country and influences from creole and celtic Music.
Their self-titled first album was produced by the Martiniquan artist Kali.
The Bolokos from Guadeloupe teams up with Caribbean legend Kali from Martinique for a unique rendition of ‘Ti Kanno’.
‘Ti Kanno’ begins with the vibrant vocals of The Bolokos before shifting into more of a festive vibe with upbeat hooks and catchy lyrics.
