The rising, Boston-based rapper scored national attention in 2015 when his entry to a rap video contest went viral and experienced further virality after freestyling on Sirius XM’s influential Sway in the Morning, receiving massive acclaim from hip hop magazine XXL.
Earlier this year, Token dropped ‘Chit Chat’, marking the first single off his upcoming project. Now, the talented rapper is back with ‘Sip’, yet another impressive gem, coming alongside an eye-catching music video. Even though ‘Chit Chat’ offers much more uplifting and hard-hitting energy, ‘Sip’ finds Token in a much more reflective mood, as he smoothly showcases his personal and honest bars and flows over an emotional and nostalgic instrumental.
