Glam-rock provocateurs Tony & The Kiki have unleashed the sounds of the new single ‘get OUT or get ON’. A sex-charged fusion of vintage ideals and untethered modern confidence. Reverberating, pounding percussion, suspenseful synth tones and the strut of almost surf-rock guitar lines, it’s a simmering pot of energy. The theatricality of the music is the standout feature, a purring attitude out of the speakers.
Frontperson Tony shares, “The verse is all the hoops we jump through and games we play when hooking up or courting someone. Patience is something that’s hard for me… this song speaks to that, hahaha. Either we’re doing this or we’re not—and I need to know now.”
Keys aficionado Rodney adding, “I think this is the rebellious side of our songwriting. Like, when that half-time surf-vibe kicks in, I want to headbang and scream in the best way. The dichotomy is that it also makes me want to be sensual and sexy, especially when we perform it live. You decide ;)”
Infinite amounts of flair and explosiveness bring the track to its urgent euphoria. I think it’s best described as a sweat-soaked declaration of seduction and defiance.
Since reigniting a three-year dormant flame, Tony & The Kiki have been delivering a gospel of glam to stages across Pride festivals and NYC nightclubs. The showstoppers continue to be rolled out in 2025, and a meteoric rise within their scene seems inevitable.
